Prof. Dr. Thomas Nickl-Jockschat takes over the Chair of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University of Magdeburg and brings with him innovative research approaches to the treatment of psychiatric illnesses.

The University Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine and Head and Neck Surgery Magdeburg, headed by Prof. Dr. med. Martin Durisin, was first certified by ClarCert for its Cochlear Implant Center on November 27, 2023.

The University Medical Center Magdeburg is very concerned about the spread of extremist ideologies, discrimination and the current increase in anti-Semitic incidents and statements in public and at universities.
