In terms of modernisation, Magdeburg University Medicine is focusing on cutting-edge technology and is planning a robotics centre for further innovations in medical research and treatment.

The Tumor Center Magdeburg/Saxony-Anhalt e.V. is organizing an advanced training course on "Palliative Medicine" on 24 April 2024. It starts at 4 p.m. in House 22 (Central Lecture Hall) on the grounds of Magdeburg University Hospital. Registrations are already possible.
