Pediatric Continuing Education in 2022
Save-the-date: every first Wednesday of the month from 17 - 18:30, namely on 02.02.2022, 06.04.2022, 01.06.2022, 31.08.2022 (postponed due to school vacations), 05.10.2022, 07.12.2022 the pediatric continuing education will take place in the lecture hall of the pediatric clinic or online, depending on the Corona situation.
Children's Hospital Cooperation Partner in the VersKik Project
Since December 2021, the University Children's Hospital has been a cooperation partner in the G-BA-funded VersKik project of the Institute for Social Medicine and Health Systems Research (ISMG), Medical Faculty of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The aim of the project is to improve long-term follow-up care for patients with childhood cancer. We are looking forward to the collaboration.
New Project on Antibody Therapies for ALL at University Children's Hospital.
Within the framework of Clinical Research Unit 5010 "CATCH-ALL", the German Research Foundation (DFG) is also funding a subproject at the University Children's Hospital in Magdeburg. Together with Prof. Thomas Valerius, Kiel, the Translational Leukemia Research Group of Prof. Denis Schewe is investigating a new immunotherapeutic approach.
Laboratory Data for New Leukemia Therapy
Prof. Schewe's Translational ALL Research Group presented data on the preclinical efficacy of a new antibody therapy at the American Cancer Congress ASH 2021.
Hervorragende Expertise für Kinder mit endokrinen Krebserkrankungen
Die Pädiatrische Hämatologie und Onkologie der Universitätskinderklinik in Magdeburg hat die Studienleitung des GPOH-MET Registers (Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Onkologie und Hämatologie-Maligne Endokrine Tumoren) für Kinder mit Schilddrüsenkarzinomen, Nebennierenrindentumoren, Phäochromozytomen/ Paragangliomen und Neuroendokrinen Tumoren übernommen. Wir haben mit der Studienleiterin Dr. med. Antje Redlich gesprochen.
