Focus on Gender-Sensitive Medicine
June 5, 2026 - On June 17, 2026, Prof. Ute Seeland, MD, of Magdeburg University Hospital will deliver the Leopoldina Lecture titled “Gender-Sensitive Medicine – Why, How, and What For?”. She will examine how biological, social, and cultural factors influence health and medical care, and why gender-sensitive medicine is becoming increasingly important for both research and clinical practice.
