Magdeburg 2024 Trialogue Forum
“Linguistic Signature of Psychoses” is the topic of the Trialogue Forum Magdeburg 2024. The University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Magdeburg cordially invites affected persons, relatives and medical-psychological colleagues to attend on October 23, 2024. The event will begin at 17:00 in House 22 (Central Lecture Hall) on the grounds of Magdeburg University Hospital.
Psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder affect around three percent of the population. These disorders are extremely stressful for those affected and can manifest themselves in delusions, hallucinations or thought disorders.
A working group at the UMMD is investigating linguistic disorders in those affected with the help of language models based on artificial intelligence (AI). These analyses aim to identify patterns that indicate an increased risk of psychosis relapse. In this way, impending relapses can be recognized at an early stage and treatment can be adapted in time to prevent them at best.
This forum makes new findings and innovative therapy concepts accessible to a broad public. Further information can be found in the flyer.
