Successful study information day 2024
The Faculty of Medicine at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is committed to providing comprehensive counselling and support for prospective medical students. To this end, an information and advice morning was held on 4 May 2024. The admission requirements, application modalities and the HAM-Nat selection test for studying medicine in Magdeburg were explained to around 50 interested parties, including those from Saxony-Anhalt, Lower Saxony and the Czech Republic, in the central lecture theatre on the campus of University Medicine Magdeburg.
Interested parties were also able to talk to student representatives about studying medicine. At the same time, there were specific tips and advice on how to prepare for the selection test and individual study counselling.
In the "MAMBA" skills lab, Magdeburg's training centre for basic medical skills, the future doctors were able to try out emergency procedures and basic internal medicine and surgical skills and look around a simulation operating theatre.
Those interested in the Master's degree programme in Immunology were also able to find out about admission and application procedures, the course of study and a wide range of career prospects on the University of Magdeburg campus.
The next opportunity to find out about studying medicine in Saxony-Anhalt and the HAM-Nat and TMS test procedures will be on 30 May 2024 at the online event "Raus aus der Schule und rein in die Medizin".
