Neurinoma
Neurinomas are usually benign tumors that arise on cranial nerves and are usually located at the base of the skull, for example, at the cerebellopontine angle. Among the most common neurinomas is vestibular schwannoma, which continues to be often referred to as acoustic neurinoma.
The treatment of choice above a certain size is surgical removal. Alternatively, other treatment methods may be considered.
