Welcome to the pediatric ward K1!

Our team does everything to make your stay on our ward as pleasant as possible. We have 18 beds for the very youngest, but also for young adults up to the age of 18. For us, this means that parents can also be admitted if they wish.

We treat acutely and chronically ill children as inpatients and outpatients in cooperation with the various departments of the hospital. Heart and lung diseases, rheumatism, cystic fibrosis, diseases of the digestive tract, diabetes, kidney diseases, but also endocrinological and neurological problems. Allergies and infectious diseases are among the most common conditions on our ward.

We strive to create a family atmosphere. A gentle, trusting approach is one of the most important prerequisites for getting well. Diagnostics and innovative medical procedures according to the latest state of science are carried out in a child-friendly atmosphere. It goes without saying that we ensure pain relief, if necessary.

We are a team of physicians, nursing staff, nutritional counseling, special diabetes counseling, child psychology and social services. We work together on a daily basis to achieve the best possible therapy results.

WLAN access is available during the stay. There is the possibility of bedside schooling and we have a playroom ready for you.
