Unclear fevers that occur repeatedly, changes in the composition of the blood, poor performance, recurrent infections and often enlarged lymph nodes lead to the presentation in our consultation. A progressive diagnosis is carried out.

There is a close cooperation with the Institute of Human Genetics, since genetic alterations can be a cause of immunodeficiencies or autoinflammatory diseases.

Treatment is required for patients with severe defects in the body's defenses. This often consists of regular subcutaneous infusions of immunoglobulins. These are administered at home by the families according to instructions. An on-call service is provided through the oncology ward. There is cooperation with other immunodeficiency centers.
