We treat infants, children and adolescents with congenital and acquired disorders of the nervous system, neuromuscular diseases, disorders of mental and motor development, and sleep and breathing disorders. Our outpatient and inpatient care includes patients with epilepsy, developmental delays, headaches, muscular atrophy, sleep apnea syndrome, and sleep disorders, among others.

For diagnostics and therapy, we have modern EEG systems including video monitoring as well as bedside and long-term recording. The children's sleep laboratory is accredited by the German Society for Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine (DGSM) and is thus subject to regular reviews of structural and process quality. Infants and children who require a home monitor or home ventilation are also appropriately adjusted here and regularly monitored during the course of their treatment.

Our entire care concept is based on close interdisciplinary cooperation with psychologists, physio- and occupational therapists, ENT and eye clinic, pediatric and neuroradiology, neurophysiology, neurosurgery, metabolic and screening laboratory, human genetics and social pediatric center on a local level as well as with nationwide treatment centers.
