Rheumatology
In terms of differential diagnosis, pediatric and adolescent rheumatology encompasses a variety of inflammatory and non-inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system. In addition to childhood rheumatoid arthritis (juvenile idiopathic arthritis), rheumatic diseases without joint involvement but with involvement of the internal organs, musculature, skin and blood vessels also occur in childhood. We have vast experience in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory joint diseases, collagenoses such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), dermatomyositis, vasculitides, inflammatory non-bacterial bone diseases (CRMO) and autoinflammatory diseases (periodic fever syndromes).
