Want to be an actor/actress ?
Acting patients wanted :-)
The Medical Faculty of the Otto-von-Guericke University is looking for people who are trained as acting patients (S-patient) to support medical students in their communication training.
You will learn standardized patient roles and will then be used as an S-patient in communication training for medical students. The students should practice taking their medical history, conducting conversations and establishing contacts.
A classic role would be, for example, that of a patient who comes to the clinic for admission. The students (physician role) should then conduct a diagnostic admission interview with you (S-patient). You can then give the students feedback from the patient's perspective - you will receive special feedback training for this purpose.
Previous acting experience is helpful, but not necessary - anyone can become an acting patient!
The training to become an acting patient is free of charge. You will be paid on an hourly basis for your work as an acting patient in student classes.
We look forward to welcoming you as an acting patient soon!
We would like to invite you to one of our information evenings to learn more about the project.
Feel free to contact us for further information - preferably by email:
