PD Dr. Busse, Dementia Research
The research focus of our research group "Gerontopsychiatry" is on immunological as well as clinical-statistical and epidemiological questions in gerontopsychiatric patients.
The basic research is based on a specialized diagnostic clarification of the clinical pictures of these patients both in a gerontopsychiatric acute care unit with 17 beds and in our gerontopsychiatric outpatient clinic including the care of patients in more than 30 dementia residential communities and nursing homes in Magdeburg.
In this respect, profound scientific research is made possible by the interlocking of clinical principles with our immunological expertise.
